Our authentic Ampel programs, brought together into one unhurried stay on Nusa Penida — a cave trek, the coast at its best, an evening with a local family, a sunrise ride and a morning at the loom.
Most visitors see Nusa Penida in a single rushed day. This package slows it down. We meet you at the harbour, walk you into Goa Gede, show you the east coast from Diamond Beach and the Tree House, and then hand the evening over to the people of Ampel — a meeting and a shared dinner with a local family.
Day two starts before dawn on a bicycle along the coast, with coffee as the sun comes up, and continues down to Atuh Beach before a final visit to Rang Rang's weavers on the way back to the harbour.

Your guide collects you in the dark, with bicycles ready.
An easy ride along the quiet coastal road as the sky begins to lighten over the sea.
Stop at a cliff-edge viewpoint for local coffee while the sun comes up out of the ocean.
Walk down the cliff stairway to Atuh Beach — a sheltered bay of clear water, sea arches and limestone islands. Swim, relax and take your time.
A relaxed lunch by the beach before heading back up.
Return to the hotel to shower, pack and rest.
Your guide collects you and your luggage.
Visit the weavers of Rang Rang and see traditional cloth made on the loom with natural dyes, in the way it has been passed down for generations.
Drive back to the harbour in time for your boat.

Keep the sunrise ride and coffee, then swap the rest of Day 2 for one of these two programs. Both start after the sunrise coffee break (05:00–06:30 as above).

Harbour pickup and departure times follow your fast-boat booking. Everything else is a guide — the day may shift a little with the weather, the tide and the pace of the group.
The cave trek and the stairs down to Atuh Beach need a moderate level of fitness — if that's a concern, choose one of the alternative Day 2 programs. Let us know about dietary requirements and we'll share them with your host family in advance.
